Baltasound school closed again due to snow
THE BALTASOUND school has been closed again due to the snowy conditions.
The junior high school in Unst said the roads are unsafe for pupils and staff to attend.
The school was closed on Friday for the same reason.
Due to coronavirus restrictions only a small number of pupils are attending in person at the school, though, with most receiving online teaching.
A spokesperson for Shetland Islands Council said this morning that Baltasound was the only school closed in the isles.
