TWO separate petition cases called at Lerwick Sheriff Court on Wednesday morning.
Kevin Manson, whose address was given as Lerwick, faced a charge of possessing indecent photographs of a child under the age of 18.
The 35-year old made no plea and was committed for further examination.
Barry Dutton, meanwhile, was charged with two contraventions of the misuse of drugs act 1971, namely the possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply.
The 26-year-old, whose address was also given as Lerwick, made no plea. He was also committed for further examination.
Both men were released on bail.
Space2face Shetland is an independent and confidential service which uses Restorative Justice and the arts to bring those harmed by crime or conflict and those responsible for the harm into communication. We enable everyone affected by a particular incident to play a part in repairing the harm and finding a positive way forward.
The project is also currently fundraising to secure office space in Shetland’s brand-new creativity and wellness centre, The Mission. If you’re interesting in getting involved, or making a donation, head over to www.space2face.org/how-you-can-help
