Marine / Wylde Swan is the first tall ship of the year

THE DUTCH registered schooner Wylde Swan arrived from Norway at Lerwick harbour on Thursday evening. The first tall ship to visit the port this year, the 43-metre long vessel with around 30 crew on board berthed at Victoria Pier East at approximately 7pm. Built exactly 100 years ago, the Wylde Swan is the largest topsail schooner in the world. She is expected to leave Lerwick on Saturday.
