Marine / Big trawler towed in to Lerwick

A FRENCH stern trawler was towed into Lerwick after losing engine power on Tuesday (21 January) afternoon.

The 87m long Sandettie was taken under tow by the Lerwick Port Authority vessel Knab with the port’s Kebister in assistance.

The Sandettie was towed from the south pilot station to Holmsgarth 4 and was in the harbour by 2.10pm.
