Shona and Alison’s brave shave raises thousands

OVER seven thousand pounds was raised for the Shetland branch of Macmillan Cancer Support following a sponsored head shave on Friday.

Shona Anderson and Alison Williamson went under the razor and raised a total of £7,217. The cheque was handed over at Ninian’s Commercial Street shop.

Those involved said they wanted to give a big thank you to everyone who sponsored their #bravetheshave effort.
