Two sexual assault charges
A TWENTY four year old man has appeared in private at Lerwick Sheriff Court in relation to two allegations of sexual assault.
Desislav Branimirov Ivanov, who gave an address in Shetland’s North Mainland, appeared from custody on Monday afternoon.
He is accused of two contraventions of section three of the 2009 Sexual Offences (Scotland) Act.
Ivanov made no plea, was committed for further examination and is expected to reappear in court next week.
