News / Motor show success
SHETLAND Rotary Club has confirmed that hosting last weekend’s motor show at the Clickimin Leisure Centre has raised almost £5,500 for charity.
David Anderson of the organising committee said that they had over 1,0000 people attending the two day event, a figure slightly down on previous motor shows.
A significant amount of the money raised is set be donated to Disability Shetland, while the rest will be used for other charitable causes. Shetland Rotary Club is open to applications.
