News / Man reported over collision
A MAN will be reported to the procurator fiscal following investigations by police into a collision last week involving a cyclist.
Police confirmed that the driver of the “offending vehicle” had been identified following a public appeal.
The incident took place at around 7.15pm on Friday on the A970 near Frakkafield. The cyclist received minor injuries and was later released from hospital.
Anyone with information about the incident is still being asked to contact Police Scotland in Shetland on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111. Alternatively, they can visit Lerwick Police Station.
