THURSDAY’s ferry sailings to and from Shetland are set to be affected by strong winds.
The southbound sailing of the Hjaltland will now leave Lerwick at 4pm instead of 7pm, with its arrival into Aberdeen on Friday morning expected to suffer minor delays.
The Hrossey’s northbound sailing may also experience minor delays in arriving in Lerwick on Friday, with its scheduled stop in Kirkwall on Thursday night likely to be up to two hours late.
Thursday’s freight sailing between Aberdeen and Lerwick has been moved to 5pm on Friday, while the northbound sailing of the Hildasay will make an extra trip back south on Friday at 4pm.
