News / Classic car charity concert
A CHARITY concert will be held in June as part of this year’s Shetland Classic Motor Show.
The event, dubbed a ‘musical extravaganza’ of local talent, will take place on 4 June in Lerwick’s Mareel.
On the bill will be the likes of Bryan Gear and Violet Tulloch, the Sheila Henderson Band, Mirka and Eunice Henderson & the South Mainland Fiddlers.
Money raised from the concert will go towards Shetland Young Disability Group, Bereavement Support and Befriend.
Tickets are priced at £20 and they are available from Shetland Box Office.
The biennial Shetland Classic Motor Show is taking place at Lerwick’s Clickimin Leisure Complex on 4 and 5 June.
It is set to be the biggest show yet, with motor clubs from Europe attending for the first time.
