Letters / How is that acceptable?
During the referendum campaign, the Vow pledged “extensive new powers”, the impression given was that Devo Max was on the way. The Smith Commission laid out an agreed tranche of powers.
Why is anyone surprised that with the mean spirited approach of the Tory government, the Scotland Bill has now come forward, and does not live up to “extensive new powers”.
A party that won only one MP with a drop in the share of the vote in its worst General Election performance since 1966 makes the big decisions for Scotland; how is that acceptable?
