News / NHS annual review
LOCAL people have the chance to quiz the management of NHS Shetland this Thursday as the health board hosts its annual review.
The public meeting will hear presentations from chairman Ian Kinniburgh and chief executive Ralph Roberts before those attending have the opportunity to provide feedback and ask questions.
The meeting starts at 5.30pm and is being held in the Bressay Room of NHS Shetland’s headquarters at Montfield, in Lerwick’s Burgh Road.
Following the presentation Radio Shetland will air a live special Speakeasy discussion programme to take the temperature of the local health service from 6.10 – 7.00pm.
Questions to the NHS Shetland panel of speakers can be e-mailed to radio.shetland@bbc.co.uk or phoned in to 01595 694747.
A health board spokeswoman said: “Please note that it may not be possible to answer all the questions received due to time constraints, nor any about individual patient-specific issues, however provided we have contact details any questions not answered on the day will receive a written response.”
Anyone with queries about the annual review or additional support requirements, such as assistance in accessing the building, should contact Carolyn Hand 01595 743064 or carolyn.hand@nhs.net.
