News / Sands donation
ALMOST £1,200 were raised during a recent craft fair and indoor car boot sale organised by a group of first time mothers in support of the local branch of the Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Society (Sands).
Marie Manson of Sands said she would like to “thank these new mums for the generous donation which will go a long way to help the new charity get underway”.
In June four volunteers will be trained as befrienders to be available to help anyone who has gone through the loss of a baby.
