News / Toll Clock break-in
JEWELLERY was stolen from a display cabinet after thieves forced their way in to the Toll Clock shopping centre in Lerwick overnight from Thursday to Friday.
Police said staff had discovered the theft when they returned to work on Friday morning at 8.30am. The value of the items taken is not known yet.
Chief inspector Lindsay Tulloch said: “Police are asking anyone who has information on the break-in or might have been in the area last night and seen someone or heard anything suspicious during the night to contact Lerwick Police Station on the 101 number.”
Anonymous information can also be passed via Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111.
