News / Ferry service disruptions
NORTHLINK has confirmed that its Lerwick to Aberdeen service will depart three hours ahead of schedule on Saturday to avoid the worst of the weather.
The Hjaltland will leave Lerwick at 4pm on Saturday afternoon, with check-in opening at 2.30pm.
The ferry operator’s northbound service meanwhile will only sail as far as Orkney and return to Aberdeen overnight from Sunday to Monday, leaving Kirkwall at 9.30pm.
As a consequence there will be no Sunday service from Lerwick to Aberdeen.
Sunday night’s northbound sailing of the Hjaltland meanwhile is scheduled to depart Aberdeen on time at 5pm.
