Letters / Not my bedfellows

In response to Bill Adams’ letter Cold sweat (SN; 03/10/14). To quote Bill:

“The disgusting scenes of violence in George Square in Glasgow after the vote were caused by some of your Unionist bedfellows, Mr Tinkler, thugs waving Union Jacks and giving Nazi salutes.”

My response to Bill is as follows: Not my bedfellows Bill, just a bunch of thugs dressed in flags and showing tribal behaviour; very sadly loads of those on both sides, both Yes and No proponents. I condemn them both with utter contempt.

Now, Bill Adams, do you accept the democratic will of Scotland’s people, expressed in the recent referendum, or are you looking towards a non democratic solution to achieve your independence fantasy?

A simple Yes or No will suffice.

Would you leap into bed with assorted cyberNATs and the total scum whom freely used intimidation and utter nastiness to force their divisive views on others (rather like Ireland in the 1960s, just before the recent troubles started)?
