Mackerel caught by UK, European and Norwegian fishing boats is again being promoted as “fish to eat” by the Marine Conservation Society (MCS). In contrast, mackerel from Iceland and Faroe is the least sustainable choice. The news has been welcomed by isles MP Alistair Carmichael.
