LOCAL table tennis star Lynda Flaws convincingly won her first match in the women’s single competition at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

The 21-year old beat Angelisa Freemann from St Kitts and Nevis 11-9, 11-5, 11-6 and 11-2 on Tuesday afternoon.

She will play against Yvonne Foster of Jamaica later on Tuesday.
