Letters / No nationalism, please!
The division of the Scottish nation is now happening, and it is the possible saddest outcome in our history.
Why should it be a disappointment that devolving power to the islands is refused?

The oil reserves will be the bargaining point I’m sure if they succeed next year.
It would be a wonderful to be able to guarantee that Scotland could be moving into an economy and standard of living beyond all others, but that is only a dream world and not reality.
In fact, it is the biggest gamble by Scottish nationalists ever.
Schoolchildren being offered a vote are beyond belief but this is yet another weak SNP policy.
The verbal chants by Scots and Shetlanders alike are very sad. Why should we rebuke our UK and the wonderful union flag, which I hope will always fly above us.
No nationalism, please!
