News / Fortnightly films

SHETLAND Arts is doubling the number of films it shows at Lerwick’s Garrison Theatre in the build up to the opening of Mareel this summer.

Following the Easter weekend’s screenings, a second clutch of movies will be on show from 19 to 22 April, including Hop, Secret of Kells, Bel Ami, Hunky Dory and 21 Jump Street.

Marketing officer Lisa Ward said: “We are very excited to be offering more film screenings for the public to enjoy in run up to the opening of Mareel, which will offer cinema screenings seven days a week. We’re showing a great set of films this month that I’m sure will be very popular.”

Tickets are available from Shetland Box Office, tel. 01595 745555 or online at www.shetlandboxoffice.org
