Hassan remanded in custody

A FORTY eight year old man was remanded in custody at Lerwick Sheriff Court, on Monday, after appearing in private and from custody on a charge of assault.

Ebrahim Abdula Hassan, from Lerwick, made no plea or declaration and was committed for further examination. He is due to re-appear before the court at a later date.
