Tonight’s ferries cancelled

THURSDAY night’s ferries between Lerwick and Aberdeen, and Aberdeen, Kirkwall and Lerwick, have now been cancelled due to the high winds forecast for later in the day.

Ferry operator NorthLink said on Thursday morning that Friday night’s northbound and southbound sailings were currently under review

Thursday’s sailings of the cargo vessels Hildasay from Aberdeen to Lerwick, and Helliar from Lerwick to Aberdeen, have also been cancelled.
