News / The Menu Board celebrates local food

The Shetland News has launched a new food section today (Monday) and hopes to bring together Shetlands’ many food resources, from producers and suppliers, food and drink outlets, details on upcoming events, regular recipes and much more.

Readers can access a range of local menus to browse or download from the Restaurants & Cafes; Takeaway and Delivery and By Location pages, as well as access special offers and promotions.

There will be regular features on local restaurants, cafes and takeaways as well as articles on the many new and exciting developments that are happening in Shetland’s food culture.

Glynn Wright, Shetland’s local food connoisseur will be contributing a regular recipe for you to try out at home. Make sure to keep visiting as the Menu Board grows and develops in the next few months.

If you are involved in the food industry in any way and would like to participate, please get in touch with us here to discuss how to get involved.
