Big cheques handed over after big fundraising effort from brother and sister
TWO family attractions in the Westside have benefitted to the tune of more than £1,700 each thanks to fundraising efforts from a pair of siblings from Skeld.
Joe, 11, and Kari Fraser, 8, walked from Da Sand Gairdins to Michaelswood in the summer, covering a distance of around eight miles.
More than £3,000 was raised, with the money to be split between Sand Gairdins and Michaelswood.
The bairns have now presented cheques worth £1,764 each.
Their own funds were topped up with money from the Westside Smiles event held in July.
