Transport / Freight sailings cancelled due to high winds
BOTH of Wednesday night’s freight sailings have been cancelled due to high winds.
NorthLink announced the cancellations this morning (Wednesday), due to ongoing weather disruption.
The Hjaltland is also set to be heavily delayed in arriving into Lerwick on Thursday morning.
She will depart from Aberdeen at 7pm as scheduled, but could be up to four hours late in getting to Lerwick tomorrow due to forecasted adverse weather.
The Hrossey will sail from Lerwick at 5.30pm as scheduled tonight, but will no longer call into Kirkwall.
Her arrival into Aberdeen tomorrow could also be delayed by up to one hour.
