Transport / Hrossey to leave Lerwick at 10pm on Monday night

THE HROSSEY is set to leave Lerwick almost six hours later than scheduled tonight (Monday) due to high winds.

The NorthLink ferry had been due to sail for Kirkwall and on to Aberdeen at 4.30pm today.

But NorthLink said she would now leave Shetland at 10pm tonight, arriving into Kirkwall at only 6am on Tuesday morning.

She will then get to Aberdeen at 1.30pm tomorrow.

The Hjaltland will leave Aberdeen on time at 5pm tonight, though may be delayed arriving into Kirkwall by an hour.

Her arrival into Lerwick tomorrow is expected to be on schedule.

The freight vessel Helliar‘s arrival into Aberdeen on Tuesday also could be delayed by up to four hours due to the weather.
