Transport / NorthLink sailings cancelled on Sunday
TONIGHT’S (Sunday) NorthLink passenger sailings have been cancelled due to high winds.
The ferry operator had said that both the Hjaltland and Hrossey crossings were unlikely to go ahead, with the cancellations announced on Sunday morning.
The freight sailing of the Hildasay from Aberdeen on Sunday night has also been cancelled.
Monday night’s departure of the Hrossey from Lerwick is under review too, with the possibility of a late departure.
A yellow Met Office weather warning for wind is in place until 9pm tonight.
