More than 1,300 lose power

Update:
Around 1,340 properties are now affected. SSEN hopes to have power restored by midnight.

PARTS of Shetland are again affected by a power cut.

More than 800 properties in Yell, Unst and Fetlar have been without electricity since around 5.20pm this afternoon.

The power cut has also disrupted ferry services across Bluemull Sound as it has affected the linkspans.

Engineers from SSEN are on their way to the North Isles to investigate the cause of the power cut and to restore electricity.
