Marine / Ocean Explorer arrives at Scalloway on maiden voyage
SCALLOWAY has welcomed the first visit of a cruise ship to its harbour in quite some time, but the passengers on board the Ocean Explorer might have wished for a better day weather-wise.
Visiting Shetland on her maiden voyage, the five star Ocean Explorer can carry up to 170 passengers.
The Bahamas registered 104-metre long cruise ship arrived early on Thursday after leaving Kirkwall on Wednesday afternoon. She is due to leave later to day hading to the Faroe islands and Iceland.
