SHETLAND dialect group Shetland Forwirds is reminding budding poets there is just this weekend left before the closing date for entries to the 2015 Rhoda Bulter Award.
The theme for dialect poems this year is “joy” and they should be no more than 40 lines long.
The competition will be judged as always by the Bulter family and the winning poem will be published in The New Shetlander.
Shetland Forwirds convener Mary Blance said: “ “Wir hed a splendid response sae far bit maybe der folk at’s still tinkin aboot pittin in a poem so dis’ll maybe encourage dem no tae laeve it ower late.”
