SHETLAND’S footballers are through to the semi finals of the North Caledonian Cup following a 4-2 victory over Golspie on the Scottish mainland on Saturday afternoon.

Goals from James Aitken, Shane Jamieson, Connor Regan and Greg Tulloch were enough for Niall Bristow’s men to see off their Sutherland opponents.

Shetland will make another trip south to face the winners of the quarter final clash between Alness and Sutherland United as the boys in blue continue their preparations for this summer’s NatWest Island Games.
