Snow later this week
FORECASTERS are warning of a second brief spell of winter later this week after last month’s first snow of the season saw many commuters struggling with the conditions.
The Met Office said a combination of gale force winds and frequent snow showers may cause some disruptions to travel on Thursday night into Friday morning.
Accumulations of between two and five centimetres of snow are possible in places, forecasters said.
Milder conditions are said to return again at the weekend.
