So yet again a Yes campaigner repeats the nationalist mantra of class division. I quote Louise Thomason’s comment (Wading through the arguments; SN 5/4/14) “something other than an Old Etonian, male-dominated Westminster”. Her own view? I doubt that. This is simply more of Salmond’s cybernats’ attempt to stir up an unpleasant and fictional class division in this debate.
Just whom was old Etonian in Gordon Brown’s administration? Whom was old Etonian in Tony Blair’s administration? I for one was quite unaware the “dreaded Margaret” was old Etonian, public school and male!
I realise Louise is doing little more than quoting SNP dogma, but now Louise how about your own real views without the disinformation and decisive comments about English public school boys? Just remember Tony Benn, the great man, was Westminster College educated and Maggie was a grammar school girl!
