Transport / North boats back running but with delays
NORTHLINK’s ferry sailings to and from Shetland will resume after three days of weather related cancellations, but there will be delays.
The northbound ferry from Aberdeen to Kirkwall and Lerwick was due to leave at 5pm today (Saturday) but it is only expected to depart between 5am and 5.30am tomorrow.
It is due to arrive in Lerwick at 7pm tomorrow.
The southbound sailing was due to leave Lerwick at 7pm today but this has been moved forward to 4.30pm.
Arrival in Aberdeen tomorrow morning may be delayed by up to two hours.
NorthLink added that the southbound sailing tomorrow night will leave once loading of the Hrossey is complete.
