Emergency services / Coastguard helicopter tasked to airlift woman following crash in Unst
AN EIGHTY-year-old woman was flown to hospital in Lerwick on Friday afternoon following a two-vehicle collision on the island of Unst.
The Coastguard search and rescue helicopter was tasked to airlift the woman after police was alerted to the crash on the A968 just before 2pm.
Chief inspector Chris Sewell said this morning (Saturday) the woman was taken to hospital for assessment.
