Transport / Sunday NorthLink sailings under review amid forecast for high winds
BOTH OF Sunday night’s NorthLink passenger sailings are under review because of forecasted high winds.
NorthLink said updates would follow in the coming days as forecasts are updated.
Today’s (Friday) freight sailings are also set to be disrupted.
The Helliar will sail from Lerwick at 6pm tonight, but may not arrive into Aberdeen until 1pm tomorrow.
And the Hildasay‘s arrival into Lerwick on Saturday also may be up to two hours later than scheduled.
The freight vessel Hildasay may not stop in Kirkwall on Saturday night due to the conditions also.
