Community / Festive feeling in Scalloway as Christmas tree lights switched on
SCALLOWAY is looking that little bit more festive after the village’s Christmas tree lights were switched on this evening.
Folk also got the chance to listen to Christmas music from the Shetland Community Brass Band in the Scalloway Youth Centre while enjoying some homebakes and refreshments, and there was also a Santa’s grotto and games too.
It came after the Lerwick Christmas parade took place in the afternoon.
