Transport / Friday sailings likely to be cancelled, NorthLink warns
NORTHLINK has warned of major disruption to ferries over the coming days, with passenger and freight sailings likely to be cancelled.
The company has said that both Friday night’s north and southbound passenger sailings are under review, with a “high probability of cancellation”.
The freight sailings of the Helliar and Hildasay are also likely to be cancelled, NorthLink said.
Saturday night’s sailings of the Hjaltland and Hrossey are “under review” too.
And Saturday’s freight sailings are also likely to be cancelled due to the adverse weather forecast, NorthLink added.
