Community / Christmas Eve parade brings festive fun to Tingwall

TINGWALL was extra festive on Christmas Eve as the community got a special visit from Santa and some of his elves.

They gave out some gift bags with toys and sweets, while there was also a collection for the Shetland Foodbank.

Folk in the community have teamed together to host a small Christmas Eve parade each year since 2020.

The first parade took place during the Covid pandemic with the aim of giving Tingwall children a “pick me up”.
