NEARLY £14,000 has been raised locally for Children in Need so far, with more money to be collected in the coming week.

It comes after fundraising efforts within the community, including through schools, and the BBC Radio Shetland auction and entertainment on Friday night.

Among the efforts included the Aith guizers raising around £1,000.

Meanwhile Pudsey the bear made visits to schools across Shetland last week.
