Business / Watch: Ribbon cut to mark reopening of Scalloway Hotel bar

DOORS opened to the public at the Scalloway Hotel bar last night (Wednesday) for the first time since the business closed in 2020.

Local councillor Davie Sandison was on hand to cut a ceremonial ribbon at the front door alongside the family which will be running the hotel after it changed hands.

He said the reopening was “lang-lippened” and added that he was sure it would be “well supported by everybody”.
