Ferry to leave five hours early
THE NORTHBOUND ferry to Lerwick is to leave Aberdeen at the earlier time of 2pm this afternoon (Monday) due to the weather.
Its scheduled departure time from Aberdeen was originally 7pm.
The southbound NorthLink ferry from Lerwick to Aberdeen via Kirkwall will also depart at 4pm instead of 5.30pm.
Monday’s southbound freight sailing has been cancelled.
Both passenger sailings on Tuesday are under review, with an update due to follow tomorrow morning.
