News / Shalder spreads its wings

THE SULLOM Voe tug Shalder has left Shetland for the last time to be handed over to its new Greek owners in Aberdeen.

The vessel was replaced recently by the new £7.6 million Multratug 30 after nearly 35 years in service.

The Shalder is going to the same company which last year bought the fellow Sullom Voe tug Tirrick, which is now called the Christos XLI.
