News / Motor show donation

THE ROTARY Club of Shetland is donating nearly a third of the funds raised at last weekend’s Motor Show to disaster relief charity Shelter Box. Around 1,000 people passed through the doors of Clickimin on Saturday and Sunday. Chairman Thomas Bruin said the club decided on Wednesday to donate £1,800 of the £6,000 raised to Shelter Box in light of the recent earthquake in Nepal, which has claimed over 6,000 lives, devastated villages and left many homeless.
