Court round up

A TWENTY three year old man from Lerwick appeared in private before the town’s sheriff court on Wednesday morning, facing two charges of theft by house breaking.

Craig Manson made no plea or declaration, and was committed for further examination before being released on bail.

Meanwhile 32 year old Calum Jamieson, of 7A Pitt Lane, was fined £500 after he previously pled guilty to attempting to receive drugs on a prescription that had been tampered with, at Boots, in Lerwick, on 25 October last year.
