Letters / I will vote No!

In response to Ian Hudghton MEP (Whalsay visit; SN, 19/08/14), there is one slight problem with his premise.

An independent Scotland would not be a member of the EU!

It may one day become a member but there is absolutely no evidence that it will.

Does that not make most of what he has written at best speculation and at worst complete and utter disingenuous tripe?

I will vote for honesty and united strength. I will vote NO.
