CHILDREN and staff at Islesburgh’s out of school and breakfast clubs have been busy building bird boxes to be donated to Shetland Amenity Trust.

The boxes, made with wood donated by the Brae Building Centre, have been presented to the trust’s woodlands officer James Mackenzie.

He said: “These boxes will be brilliant for the birds around Shetland and will be placed in Kergord and other various woodlands areas around the islands.”
