Letters / Viking appeal required

THE SNP government gives the go ahead for a large unwanted wind farm in a Liberal Democrat constituency. What a surprise!

This is a win win situation for the SNP. By dumping a wind farm in Shetland Alex Salmond can crow about their renewable energy policy and how Scotland will be the Saudi Arabia of renewables in Europe whilst not losing a single SNP vote.

The SNP don’t care what the people of Shetland think because they won’t lose a thing by trampling all over the rights of Shetland people for their own political gains.

An appeal against this decision needs to be taken to a higher UK or European court and every possible avenue explored to fight against this ridiculous decision by the SNP.
