Letters / Disappointed
It must have escaped his notice that I’ve been involved in the Shetland construction industry all my working life, so I’m surprised that Donnie Morrison (You cooldna mak it up, SN, 18 Sep 12) thinks I don’t know that Michael Thomson is a valuation surveyor and is also involved in the Viking Partnership.
Michael is not the only local surveyor with valuation expertise that can be consulted, and I’m sure if asked to contribute Michael would be professional enough to declare an interest. I’m disappointed with Donnie’s put down as I brought up what I thought was a valid point in trying to protect people’s property values if Viking goes ahead.
