Letters / How to sustain Shetland?
Andrew Halcrow, I would like to put a few questions in your direction:
1)
What is Sustainable Shetland against, the charitable trust being a part of this project or the project as a whole?
With or without the charitable trust SSE will continue to go ahead with this project as they have been giving the go ahead by the Scottish government.
2)
How do you guys at Sustainable Shetland propose to sustain Shetland? What ideas do you have?
3)
You speak about using the money VE have used on PR to keep the likes of the Freefield Centre open?
What happens when this money finally runs out? What then keeps the Freefield Centre open?
Where does my generation and generations to follow find the money to sustain the lifestyle Shetland has seen since the 70’s and the arrival of oil?
Best regards
Craig Johnson
